Online marketplaces can attract dishonest individuals. UNIPORT Market takes scam
prevention seriously. Please follow these safety guidelines at all times:
Inspect Before You Pay
Always physically inspect items before making any payment. Never pay in advance for an item you have not seen in person.
Meet in Public
Always meet sellers or buyers in busy, public areas on campus — the library, faculty buildings, or the cafeteria. Avoid remote or private locations.
Verify the Seller
Check the seller's profile, listing history, and reviews. Be cautious of new accounts with no history selling high-value items.
Red Flags to Avoid
Prices that seem too good to be true, sellers who refuse to meet in person, requests for bank transfers before delivery, or urgent pressure to pay quickly.
UNIPORT Market will NEVER: Ask you for your password, request payment on behalf of a seller,
or send you a link to a payment page via WhatsApp or SMS. If you receive such messages,
report them immediately to
support@uniportmarket.com.
IMPORTANT: UNIPORT Market is a listing and discovery platform only.
We do not process payments, hold funds, guarantee transactions, or act as an
intermediary between buyers and sellers.
All transactions on UNIPORT Market are conducted directly between buyers and sellers.

- Payment method and delivery terms are agreed solely between buyer and seller
We strongly encourage users to use safe payment methods and to always meet in person
on campus before exchanging money for goods.
